Each year among the cars sold around 15000 cars is lemons. Each state has come out with a lemon law, which protects the consumers who face problems with their vehicles. The word lemon is a common term used for cars, which faces frequent problems with the quality and performance. The vehicles, which come under the lemon law, depend on the vehicle you use. If you have a car or a truck, which is less than 18000 miles from an Indiana manufacturer or dealer, then your vehicle can be covered by Indiana lemon law.


There are certain basic things you should know if your car is a lemon. Also take your vehicle to the dealer or the manufacturer to repair. Give the dealer reasonable number of chances to repair your vehicle. The dealer can repair it up to four times. Make sure you get a copy of the repair order whenever you take the car to the dealer for a repair.


If your car has a serious defect and the dealer is not able to fix it then you can have it fixed under the Indiana lemon law. If you do it in the right way, you can get a replacement vehicle or even the money and allowances, repair charges and registration fees. Make sure you read the manual of the vehicle this will help you deal the case with ease. If there is no written notice required then you can go ahead and file a lawsuit without the written notice. If you face problems in getting the vehicle replaced or refunded you should file a lawsuit against your dealer before two years of the delivery date.
